McDonald's

McDonald's announced Thursday it planned to hire 260,000 new workers in the US over the summer.
"We are excited to welcome new employees to our McFamily, and we want candidates and their families to know we have one goal – to keep our people safe. We've put new minimum national standards and nearly 50 new processes in place in our restaurants as they continue to re-open safely and judiciously," Joe Erlinger, president of McDonald's USA, said in a press release.

Subway

Subway announced Thursday that franchisees were looking to hire 50,000 new employees in the US and Canada.
"As our business continues to see a growing demand for our value offerings, curbside pick-up and delivery, we are happy to support such a large-scale employment opportunity to meet the demands of our guests," Aidan Hay, Subway's vice president of operations for North America, said in a press release emailed to Business Insider.

Dunkin'

Dunkin' announced on June 9 that it was hiring 25,000 people in the US in its first national recruitment campaign. Jobs available range from entry level to management.
"We are proud to support our franchisees who offer much-needed job opportunities, in a welcoming environment where people can feel appreciated and rewarded for serving both customers and their communities during this critical time," Stephanie Lilak, Dunkin' Brands' chief human-resources officer, said in a statement.

Papa John's

Papa John's announced in a March 23 press release that it was hiring 20,000 new workers. Months later, the chain is still hiring to meet demand for delivery drivers and cooks and other positions.
"For anyone looking for immediate ways to earn an income, we're making it quick and simple to apply, interview and be hired at Papa John's," Marvin Boakye, Papa John's chief people and diversity officer, said in the release. "We are in the unique position — as a restaurant that specializes in delivery and carryout — to help our communities through this crisis."

On March 23 Pizza Hut announced on its blog that it would hire 30,000 new workers for permanent positions as well as delivery positions.
"Given the increased demand we're seeing for delivery, we're hiring new team members to help us feed America," Kevin Hochman, president of Pizza Hut US, said in a press release.

Chipotle said it was planning to hire for 10,000 new positions over the next few months, CNN first reported on May 8.

Taco Bell announced in a May 21 press release that it and its franchisees would hire 30,000 workers over the summer.

Domino's announced in a March 19 press release that it was hiring 10,000 new workers.
"Our corporate and franchise stores want to make sure they're not only feeding people, but also providing opportunity to those looking for work at this time, especially those in the heavily impacted restaurant industry," Richard Allison, Domino's chief executive officer, said in the release.

Raising Cane's

Raising Cane's announced in a May 11 press release that the chicken chain was hiring 5,000 new workers.
"Raising Cane's culture is built on serving our communities — it's the foundation of who we are and what we believe in," AJ Kumaran, the chain's cochief executive officer and chief operating officer, said in the release. "Part of that commitment is providing good jobs, and we wouldn't be able to do that without our continued success and growth."

Sonic posted job listings for 14,500 new jobs in the past month, according to LinkedIn. A June 2 LinkedIn jobs report said that Sonic was one of the food companies with the highest number of entry-level job listings.
